El Zota Hotel and Biological Field Station is located 50 kilometers north of Guápiles in the province of Limón. You will pass through the towns of Cariarí and Las Palmitas. After that you will enter 17 kilometers of gravel road in good condition. The route is labeled after Cariarí.
We are next to the Mixed Wildlife Reserve of Barra del Colorado.
IMPORTANT NOTE: The best way to get to the station is using Google Maps. (Waze does not work in the best way in this part of the country).
